BIOMETRICS OPERATIONS LEAD

We are seeking to appoint a Biometrics Operations Lead to join our dedicated team.


The focus of this role is to:

  • Be the Lead for Biometrics study budget proposals, coordination of Biometrics resource planning, and ongoing tracking and reporting.

  • Enable and deliver consolidated reporting of operational activity across all Biometrics functions. Support Biometrics governance and oversight through reporting, including metrics and KPIs.

  • Support governance and oversight of Data Vendors and clinical study technology solutions as assigned.

  • Be the Lead for project management of technology solution budgeting, planning and implementation across all Biometrics functions.


KEY SKILLS:

  • BA/BSc Degree or similar related qualification or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum 3 years industry experience, including project management responsibilities in a Biometrics function.

  • Understanding of innovative technologies relevant to clinical development operations.

  • Good knowledge of the drug development processes, associated regulatory and ICH GCP guidelines, and their application to global clinical trials.

  • Detailed and proactive approach to risk and issue management.

  • Effective time management skills suited to a dynamic business environment.

  • Ability to lead and influence without line management authority.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate within and beyond the Biometrics functional groups to optimise pricing models for project proposals.

  • Support Biometrics metrics and KPIs data collection and reporting.

  • Ensure the appropriate communication of budgets and timelines to support efficient Biometrics team start-up and ongoing activities.

  • Act as central point of contact for Biometrics study budgets.

  • Provide effective contract oversight and lead the proactive management of out-of-scope requests and change orders.

  • Drive cross functional risk management, issue resolution and escalation activities as part of a robust oversight and governance process.

  • Provide timely and accurate Biometrics project status updates to internal and external stakeholders, including budget reconciliation and timeline management relative to Biometrics project plans.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.

  • Contribute to the authoring and development of department SOPs and training.

This position is fully remote, with occasional travel when required.
